At SANCT, we have created a unique marketplace where you can discover and support understated brands that resonate with your values, whether they are ethically sourced, women-owned, or committed to low-waste principles. SANCT is the place where you can connect with brands you can believe in.

The founder's vision was to resonate with sophisticated, high-income women in Singapore who were conscious consumers. This demographic had specific preferences and values, such as a preference for woman-owned and ethical products, small-batch production, and sustainability. Crafting a brand that could effectively communicate with and cater to this niche while providing a fun shopping experience was a delicate balancing act. Educating consumers without coming across as preachy or judgmental was a challenge, as it required finding the right tone and approach to convey the message effectively.

Competition:
E-commerce giants

The presence of established e-commerce giants like Lazada and Shopee posed a substantial challenge. These platforms have dominated the online shopping landscape, making it difficult for newcomers like SANCT to gain visibility and market share. The founder needed to find a way to stand out and attract a niche audience in a market dominated by these monopolies.

Our approach

We positioned SANCT as the go-to destination for products that elevate wellbeing, home, and beauty. The brand strategy acts as a compass for the brand identity design. The visual presentation of SANCT encapsulates the values of celebration, earthiness, elegance, modernity, and movement. This positioning helped differentiate SANCT from competitors and established it as a brand that balances social good with business.

We created a new brand identity, including a logo, namecard, and website design, that reflected SANCT's values and mission. The design elements incorporated earthy tones, elegant typography, and modern aesthetics to convey the brand's essence. We also developed other brand assets such as website design and social media aesthetics to maintain a unified brand image across all platforms.
